The Chromatic Keyboard

For Pixel by Pixel, I wanted to create a keyboard that, instead of displaying characters on the screen as the user types, would display the keystrokes as RGB pixels in the shape of squares. Coffee Pixels

Our assignment this week for Pixel by Pixel was to create an image using non-traditional pixels and without a computer. I had a bunch of ideas, from using M&Ms or peas to Scrabble letters, eggs, ping pong balls or sugar packets. I decided on using coffee beans to create a coffee mug with some steam coming out the top on a white cutting board.
