Ethan Zuckerman’s presentation was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Forget the content, he had my attention from the beginning with his excellent stories tightly woven with videos and strong underlying points. His presentation was titled, “(dis)connected.”

Intro to Comp Media
This week was much harder than last week for a lot of reasons. In particular, I had trouble understanding how to write the code using the mousePressed variable, but I figured that out with Li’s help. It was frustrating trying to read the book and then discern the best way to write the code. What I learned in particular was that there’s more than one way to skin a cat, and you have to be open to trying a whole bunch of things until one works.
